I listened to the podcast too. Good stuff but it seems to me that the whitewater industry has blinders on, or they've been blinded by staring at the bright lights of the freestyle and extreme scene too long. This sport will grow from the bottom up, not the top down. Youth and rad and cool will not build this sport, (in fact they've sort of wrecked it from a business standpoint) - fun and family and a just plain floating will.

just recently discovered your podcast! I think it's great and just thought I'd let you know, it's refreshing having a perspective on whitewater that isn't the usual junk.
